James E. Ross is a native of Northeastern Kentucky. His professional career began in 1967 with Ashland Oil & Refining Company, the same year they became Ashland, Inc. He was directly involved in many facets of operations for this large Petrochemical company including Construction Supervision, Project Management, Project Design Engineer, Sales and Marketing, Warehousing Distribution and Division Management.
Jim’s retirement from Ashland Inc. in 2000 allowed him time to develop a student housing project in Huntington, West Virginia on the Marshall University campus as well as lead projects at the Center for Development at Ohio University, Southern. He has also coached and supported the start up of three successful businesses.
Jim received a B.S. Degree in both Business Administration and Industrial Technology, from Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky.
