Jean Ann Franke is Vice President, Southern Region with Adams, Ross & Williams. She comes to the position from a career spent developing individuals and advancing careers both within and outside organizations. She began as an educator, moving from traditional roles of teacher, counselor and school psychologist to a postsecondary venue. There she applied her people skills, evaluation expertise and analytical training to do detailed job profiling, create customized pre-employment assessment batteries and screen candidates for suitable hires within business and industry settings.

In 2000 Jean Ann ventured out to continue key leadership and employee development within organizations, provide assessment and evaluation services, as well as guiding those wanting to advance or change careers. She especially enjoyed coaching small business owners and solo professionals to develop their entrepreneurial skills while contributing to the economy of the region.

In the leadership role of Vice President, Jean Ann’s love of people, insight and listening skills continue to focus on finding great candidates for our clients while also supporting and mentoring managing directors at Adams, Ross. She believes that by developing relationships with candidates and gaining an understanding of their strengths and needs she is better able to serve our client firms. Thus, within this realm she continues to “help people and their organizations become™”.

Jean Ann has both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in education and counseling from Ohio University.  Post master’s training was obtained from Ohio University and Kent State University in school psychology and vocational evaluation.  She is also a graduate of the Coach U training program.

On a personal note, Jean Ann lives on a small rural horse farm with her husband and one son.  Another son and his family live close by.  Besides spending time with family, their Tennessee Walking horses and Labrador Retrievers, Jean Ann and her husband enjoy competitive walking and hiking the State Park trails.
